David Chubb: A Comprehensive Review of Intraoral Lesions and Medical Co-Morbidities on Patient Care

Dr. David Chubb was born and raised in the beautiful province of Newfoundland on Canada’s east coast. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where he was named to the Dean’s Honour List while playing for the university’s hockey team. His journey into dentistry took him across the globe to the University of Adelaide in Australia, where he discovered a passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery—a field that perfectly blends medicine and surgery. After returning to Canada, Dr. Chubb practiced general dentistry before completing a one-year General Practice Residency in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia. This experience helped sharpen his clinical skills and deepen his commitment to delivering exceptional, comprehensive care to his patients. Dr. Chubb went on to further specialize in the United States, beginning with a one-year intern-ship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas at Houston. He remained there to complete an additional four years of advanced surgical training, ultimately earning his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
