Dr. Joshua Austin is a nationally recognized restorative dentist, educator, and keynote speaker known for delivering practical, engaging, and entertaining lectures on restorative dentistry, dental materials, technology, mental wellness, and practice success. As Editorial Director and columnist for Dental Economics, he is widely respected for providing honest, evidence-based evaluations of dental products and emerging technologies. A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry, Dr. Austin practiced as a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry before entering full-time private practice in San Antonio, Texas. He is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and has been recognized with the Texas Dental Association's Young Dentist of the Year and the Texas Academy of General Dentistry's New Dentist of the Year awards.
Dr. Brett Stein received his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors in clinical dentistry. At Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he completed the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and earned a Master of Medical Sciences degree. The rigorous three-year program provided him with the expertise to perform complex restorative procedures, including the All-on-X full-arch rehabilitation.
Before joining Apa Aesthetic Miami, Dr. Brett spent nearly a decade in private practice in Boston. While he enjoys all facets of his specialty, he has found increasing enjoyment and prowess in aesthetics. His specialized education ensures exceptional outcomes for patients seeking comprehensive tooth replacement solutions, with natural results.
Dr. Brett is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and uniquely trained in comprehensive, restorative treatment. He lectures, teaches and mentors doctors around the country on special techniques to optimize prosthetic outcomes with veneers, crowns, bridges, and dental implants.
